Teaching is my passion; I love nurturing students to reach their full potential through a solid foundation of healthy technique and musicality. From little beginners learning to hold the bow, to high schoolers preparing for auditions, to adults pursuing their lifelong goal, I will be there to guide you through the ups and downs.

Experience
Since 2012, I’ve provided Illinois students with extensive private teaching services for all levels. I have taught students from age 4 to age 78. No one is too young or too old to learn music. From setting up a solid technical foundation in my beginners, to helping refine the phrases of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in my advanced high school students, it is an honor to teach students at every ability level. I have Suzuki training in Books 1-4, as well as Every Child Can.

I teach young violin and viola students at the Youth Music Illinois Suzuki School of Music. My studio is growing! I am now taking new families with students ages 3 and up. To learn more about how you and your child can join my Suzuki studio, fill out this registration form or contact me.
As a proud alumna of Youth Music Illinois, I am excited to invest in this wonderful organization through their Suzuki community. I am an active member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA) and I have completed training in Every Child Can and Books 1-4.

Molly’s Private Studio
I teach a unique range of students in my private studio: school orchestra students looking to improve their technique, adult beginners fulfilling a lifelong dream, home schooled children adding music into their curriculum, high school students preparing for auditions…whatever your goal is, you will find a good fit within my studio.
I offer online lessons or socially distanced in-person lessons in my Washington, IL studio. I also offer in-home lessons at your home for an additional mileage fee.
